Australian Hospitality Conference 2012
“Improving Profitability in your Changing World”
3-5 September, Wrest Point, Hobart
Dear Hospitality Industry Colleagues,
The Tasmanian Hospitality Association recently convened the first ever Australian Hospitality Conference, to coincide with the National AHA Awards staged in Hobart on 5 September 2012.
We take this opportunity to thank delegates, sponsors, trade exhibitors, and our many presenters who all contributed to make this landmark event an overwhelming success.
Themed “Improving profitability in your changing world”, the conference featured high profile international, national and local speakers across two days of stimulating plenary sessions and workshops at Hobart's iconic Wrest Point, from 3 to 5 September.
Three streams of workshops were conducted concurrently under the themes Profitability, People, and Practice, meaning delegates had the flexibility to select presentations which best suited their interests.
But it wasn't all business and networking. Delegates, sponsors and trade exhibitors enjoyed an unforgettable party at MONA, a celebration of Hobart’s finest restaurants, and a memorable cocktail reception at Cascade Brewery.
Thank you again for joining us in Hobart for what was a professional and social feast to remember, at the first ever Australian Hospitality Conference!
Yours in hospitality,
Steve Old
CEO
